High Pressure Wet Mill

The "Star Burst" is a wet-type pulverizing device to disperse, emulsify, pulverize, and reform surfaces of raw materials by obliquely colliding the particles pressurized up to 245 MPa (2.450 bar or 35.525 psi) at the relative velocity of Mach 4. Star Burst does not use any grinding media and provides products with the minimum amount of contamination.

Star Burst 10 is a wet-type micronizing device to disperse, emulsify, comminute, and delaminate particles by the collision of the ultra-high pressurized slurry in several types of chambers. Its stable operation is achieved by two intensifiers keeping continuous pressurizing.

Star Burst 100 is the wet milling and dispersing device for dispersing, emulsifying, pulverizing and cleaving by colliding the particles pressurized up to 245 MPa in several types of chambers. Star Burst 100 is capable of continuous processing with excellent reproducibility in scale-up, making it ideal for large-scale production.

Dry Mill

The "Dry Burst" is a counter airflow dry-type milling device that combines the high-precision mechatronics that we developed in our metal micro-machining units and the pulverization know-how that we acquired in our wet-type atomization units. Maintenance is easy since disassembly and cleaning can be done without using any tools.

For Laboratory: Tabletop Device

Compact dry-type milling equipment with excellent maintainability! The "Dry Burst DB-100S CE" is a space-saving dry-type milling device that supports continuous production of low-contamination powder with a particle diameter of less than 10 µm. The powder is produced by colliding the raw material particles with one another using the air flow generated by two rotating impellers. Compared with jet mills, the particle diameter can be better adjusted without over-pulverization. Furthermore, the running costs are lower since the unit's power consumption is low.
